Hosier Lane is one of those streets (click for external link<\/strong><\/a>).\u00a0 Over time, the wall space is repainted, repostered and rephotographed.<\/p>\n Some of the stuff we got, some it we didn’t, some stuff we recognised, and with other stuff, we didn’t have a clue.<\/p>\n Melbourne is dominated by the Flinders Street Station. Often used as a picture grab for Melbourne news, publicity grabs and feel good stories. To get the shots, involved dodging trams, selfie sticks and local traffic.<\/p>\n Like Bendigo, Ballarat and Adelaide, Melbourne is a city of picture postacard views, parks and old buildings built in an older time of grandeur and money. Lot$ of money.<\/p>\n Melbourne has a series of old arcades. Many have ornate glass, brass and illuminated entrances. These are filled many old and new shops selling food, clothes and services. We even got offered chocolate (dark) for tasting by an old fashioned polite shop assisstant. That was a novelty.<\/p>\n A think thank-you to Lisa and Emily for spending two days with us. It really meant a lot. Sharing food and drink in the narrow lanes made the trip to Melbourne worth while.<\/p>\n These are just a selection of the images captured by Emily.
