Spent the first part of the day down at Prevelly Surfer’s Point watching the daredevils whilst supping our coffees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Prevelly – Surfer’s Point<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The windsurfers were out in force – trying not to get in the way of the surfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boranup – Karri Forest Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drove back down to Boranup to drive the Karri Forest Drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area, which is part of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, is also well known for its wildflowers that colour the forest floor during spring. Boranup Karri Forest is unique for its proximity to the coast. This is the furthest west that the tall pale-barked karri trees grow. Karris can reach 60 metres or more in height and cover the hilly slopes and valleys of the forest. There\u2019s a stunning scenic drive through the forest which is suitable for convention vehicles. You\u2019ll feel dwarfed by the massive trees that line the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prevelly – Rivermouth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finished up at Rivermouth to catch some of the sunset and watch the surfers and body-boarders stack it in the unusual breaking waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
