Bit of a messy day today. Kinda visiting the outliers of the Food and Surf scene in Margs.
Kicked the day off with a triple shot long black (Americano coffee – three shots of coffee topped up with hot water) from Two Cracks Coffee together a breakie wrap from the French bakery. Headed off to Prevelly to watch the surf.

Started off at EVOI Wines. Looking for Xmas celebratory white wine. In the past, we have shopped at Voyager for top quality chardonnays. On our last visit (they must have been having a bad day), the cellar door staff member was rude and inpolite. So we are trying other vintage chardonnays of around the same age (2015/2016) ish from around the region.
Drove back into Margs to fill on petrol before the government tax is restored to full value. Headed off to Firetail Wines to catch up with owner. The vineyard was looking exceptionally well groomed. the local flock of sheep had been trimming the weeds and keeping it looking top notch.

The owner gifted us a 2016 Sparkling Chardonnay. This one is an up and coming new wines. The existing 2016 vintage is aged for 54 months – this new one has been aged for 72 months. Looking forward to drinking this when we get back to Fremantle.
Headed down to Contos Beach and Contos Spring to look for surfers. No luck today – will try again on the weekend. Finished the day at TemperTemper Chocolate in Cow town stocking up on vital supplies.
